i saw g.i. joe tonight. AGAIN, the star wars parallels were numerous. if you are making a sci-fi movie, perhaps consider making a conscious effort to create something that does not mirror star wars!!
for example..
bad guy home base:
darth's space station.
mars underwater base.
pasty mutilated evil twosome:
emperor and darth.
rex and destro.
the force:
darth sensed when obi wan was on the death star and then bounced to go lightsaber his former teacher bud.
storm shadow sensed when snake eyes had showed up, saying "he's here", and likewise bounced to fight his childhood homie.
definitive high-altitude duel on grates:
vader vs luke and luke falls.
snake eyes vs storm shadow and storm shadow falls.
ray park:
played darth maul in episode 1.
played snake eyes in rise of cobra.
didn't get tp talk or show his face in either!!
and lastly/obviously:
