GTFO!!

i love star wars.i have been listening to r2's beepity beeps since i was both too small and too round to sit on a sofa without falling over. when finally wedged into the crack between couch cushions and propped upright, while i still had no teeth, i am positive i already knew i was watching the best movies ever.

the music that accompanies luke's first rescue of leia was proabably the soundtrack that played in my head as i daydreamed about being my 6th grade crush's crush HAHAHAHA. (please ignore the sibling thing - i'm trying to make a point.)

when i get off star tours at disneyland, i aways think to myself, "how the f was that so f-ing awesome?" and then, "that's it??" i would hugely prefer a continuation of the star wars theme over exiting directly into a gift shop where you can "make your own lightsaber" for a trillion dollars. i want to exit the ride and immediately get hit by some fake disney snow - a hoth blizzard!

here are some replacement ideas i would like to bring to disneyland's attention:
driving autopia cars
=> riding tontons
jeep adventure with indiana jones
=> swamp trek on dagobah with yoda
flying dumbo elephants in fantasyland
=> racing land speeders on tatooine
buzz lightyear astroblasters
=> han solo storm trooper killing school
country bears => kashyyyk wookies
disney princess dress up => slutty leia bronze bikini fittings
star wars is straight charming. it's timeless and relatable - which is why everyone and their mom has parodied or remade it. remade it uknowingly even.
obv, i've never been much of a star trek fan. had nothing against it. just didn't seem interesting. i've never seen a full tv episode and this entire time thought billy shat and professor x played the same character. anyway, i saw star trek the movie this weekend in imax and freaking loved it. in my excitement, i did not for one second even THINK about star wars. i guess i betrayed star wars a little because i REALLY did not think about it at all ..it never came to mind.

..until THIS was brought to my attention.

OMFG GTFO.

is that why i enjoyed star trek so much? TRICKED. i feel tricked. but it was so good. but star wars. but it was the same. but it was so good. but star wars. i am torn.

salacious crumb is not amused / no longer laughing like an idiot.
